Today India has more than 70 National Parks & 330 Wildlife Sanctuaries, each occupying from 400 to 3000 square KM of land. Among them Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Ranthambore are very known for its wildlife.

Kanha: One of the biggest national parks almost covering an area of 1900 sq km, which Kipling wrote “Jungle Book” so vividly about. There are about 100 tigers, leopards, deer, antelopes, Indian wild dogs, & some of the rare deer such as Barahasingha (swamp deer) & about 230 species of birds.

Bandhavgarh: Situated in central part of India & is very famous for the tiger sighting. There are more than 40 tigers & it is said, “that only the unlucky person can’t see the tiger” here. Apart from Tiger there are many more other animals such as Leopard, Sloth bear, Gaur (Indian Bison), different kinds of deer’s & antelopes.

It used to be the hunting place of The Maharaja of Bharatpur, who set the record in shooting of 4000 birds in one single day & it has not discouraged the migratory birds of their annual visit. Today there are more than 360 species among them the migratory rare Siberian Crane, Egrets, spoonbills, Indian Sarus Cranes, falcon, spotted eagles etc.

Ranthambore: An equally famous park in India. It covers 410 sq K.M & chances of seeing tiger are very likely for them who spend a couple of nights over there. Now there are around 30 tigers, leopards, sloth bears, deer, antelopes, blue bulls, crocodiles, & birds. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful wild life park of india.
