The markets used to be filled with jewels, gold, silvers, silks & spices. Although these kingdoms no more in existe, but the formidable works like markets & palaces of Hampi & Temples (in Halibid, Belur,) 10th century 17mts tall statue of Gommateshwara (Jain), are still there to allure the tourists from all over.
